It tell us that the 2 principle plaintiffs just went utterly wild, rampant and wanton in their fees they charged the merchants and above all the common woman and the common man. It was outright plunder and rape of the public's money.
The size of the fine reflects how utterly unprincipled and wicked these two principle plaintiffs are. They do not have one molecule of concern for the public good at all.
They were able to and so they just gorged themselves on the public money and you and I paid and paid and paid and paid and paid. Does it not remind you Wall Street bankers?
Will we get one penny back?
