The language of China's military doings are usually couched in euphemisms.
However, this is different and new:

We all remember once when China repeatedly warned the U.S. re its spy planes flying at its Pacific litoral borders.
The U.S simply would not listen. 
Then one day, VOILA, they shot the spy plane down.
Of course the U.S and China are still buddies.
