once upon a time, jennifer and i
were very keen international ballroom dancers. however because of this and that
we had, very sadly, to end our connection with this sport.
however, from it i developed a
tangential interest and admiration in the argentine tango.
it is only now that i realized
what it was that it is about the agentine tango that had this powerful
tangential hold over me.
international ballroom dancing is
strictly symmetrical in all the forms ot its variations.
the argentine tango is its
contrapunctum. it is in its essence completely asymmetrical.
the meta realization for me is
that it is in its assymetry is the beauty of the form of its moves.
