I was watching a BBC program of a set of 5 commentators.
One of them, a woman noted very sharply that when the West offers its helping hand in the internal dispute of a nation, disaster and death invariably follows. I thought about it and if you do the same, the evidence will come to you re the truth of her observation.
She proposed the West follow the Chinese policy of non-interference.
And here is an example, par excellence, of interference in the domestic affairs of a country:
Everyone knows the basis of what took place at the time of the student protests in Beijing. The students rose with power and strength against a monilithic state power. The students were just down the road from the Forbidden City where the members of the state government of China live. For this geographical proximity to the very physical persons who wielded the machinery of this state machine, the students were a direct threat to them. So, driven by their fear of these students, they sent the army in. The rest is history.
So, what is the U.S. trying to dig up now that people apprently do NOT know?
Would the U.S. like China asking for a complete review of the Kent State killings? People who live inside tin cans really ought not to throw can openers at other people.
