Do you know who you are and what you ar?

When you hear this put to you:
Do you know who you are and what you are?
there is an immediate leap in your heart and a sudden acceleration with a instant rise in you blood pressure and a rise in your breathing.
This happens because you suddenly realize you may not really know the answer.
And what you do not realize is that:
YOU WILL NEVER KNOW IT!

You will never know because it was once taught to me by one of finer teachers, Richard Bandler, RB:
Every human being is an
UNCHARTERED UNIVERSE
of wonder, mystery and complexity.

And it is in our lived experience is the proof. What is the lived experience that proves what RB said?
It is the recurrent experience across the span of our lives that we find ourselves doing something that stuns and amazes us that we did what we did. You see, if you knew yourself you would not have been startled by what you did.
If we cannot ever know ourselves then what is the alternative? It is the charm of a life by exploration and discovery to discover the wonder, mystery and complexity of us and of the other!
So, when I was watching this BBC interview with a Malian woman asserting that the mission of life for her and her people was to find out who and what they are, all I could think of was:
Good Luck to you!

However, there was a difference between her and me. She held a presupposition that she would find the answer. For me, I have embraced the belief that the charm of this adventure of exploration and discovery would go on to the very end.

So when people thunder at you as to whether you know who and what you are, do not be alarmed. Smile and move on.
Sometimes I think that these people who posit this question really do not know what they are talking about.
