There are two kinds of capitalism:
1. capitalism for the common good
2. capitalism for private personal good.
And so it was that when Henry Ford achieved his ambition to produce the car for the masses, he was eventually able to bring the price of his car down by 2/3rds.
Today, the assembly lines of mass production are even better than Henry Fords but the cars are sold at whatever the price the manufacturer can screw off the consumer.
Do you get the difference?
Once it was to produce the best product for the least price possible.
Now it is produce the stuff and whack the top price possible.
Once it was for the common good.
The other is just GREED and CROOKERY.
And this is how morality and ethics have crumbled in accord with the collapse of religious teaching. And this has been witnessed by the fraud of Wall Street and the world financial collapse.
There is only one religion today that still holds to its religious truths, morality and ethics. It is Islam. For this there the beginning of a tsunami of conversions in England.
