After Admiral Zheng He there was never one Chinese warship in the Western Pacfic Ocean. And now . . .

Since the end of the Ming Dynasty, and the sea voyages her admiral, Zheng he, there has not been one Chinese ship out in the waters of the Western Pacfic. This is a span of some 600 years! The Western Pacific includes all the waters from Manchuria down to Hainan.
In those days, it was the Japanese Imperial fleet to these more recent times of the American 7th Fleet that ruled these waters.
It seems today 2013 that China has re-asserted its one time power over these waters:

Of course this is going to upset those who are going to get upset anyway. Whilst there are those who will accept it as it were, being like the olde times.
