What is the answer for such insane behaviour?

We do not reply to comments to our blogs.
However, there was a question posited to us as to how people would do what was shared in the blog below when they are in fact being watched. Repectfully we offer this possibility.
Firstly, the action is so wild that it reeks of a person doing something 'in extremis'.because he is 'in extremis'.
What would track a person into 'in extremis'.
The only thing that we can think of is the 'cry of a child'.
Nature has imbued the cry of child with certain compelling properties. A 'normal' adult simply has to pay attention to it and respond to it.
However, if he is otherwise engaged and the child keeps crying he becomes very quickly and more and more irritated by it.
And, infamous as it is, it is well known of parents hitting their child to stop it from crying. Of course it fails and the child cries even more and certainly more loudly!
I have been present in which a parent became quite beside himself and, thankfully, he just mangaged to control himself from venting his homicidal rage.
Well some parents cannot control themselve and then they go do what they do. At that moment they don't care!

Perhaps there is another answer to this phenonmenon.
